Hillside Kids Relaunch

We are super excited to be re-launching Hillside Kids!! Kid’s Ministry will resume on November 7th…WOOHOO!

This past year and a half have been so tough in so many ways and my heart has weighed so heavy for our children. I feel the urgency for our children to really know God and know the Word, this will be the focus of our children’s ministry. We have a team of loving and dedicated leaders to help teach our children.

On Sunday morning kids, ages 4-grade 5, will be released for Kid’s Ministry after worship. Kids will line up in the hallway and go upstairs with their teacher.All the kids will be together for the welcome and prayer, and then will break off into two groups (littles ages 4-grade 2, bigs grade 2-grade 5) for a video lesson, discussion, and bible memory.Following that all the kids will join back together for a craft and/or activity for the duration of the service.Once a month we will have a family service and there will be no separate Kid’s Ministry.

I am excited to introduce the “Bible Bucks Program”.This will be an incentive program for children to earn “Bible Bucks” by attending Kid’s Ministry, bringing their Bible, and reciting the memory verse. Children will be able to exchange the “Bible Bucks” they have earned for fun goodies at our “store” a few times per year. Not to worry if you miss a Sunday, children can catch up by reciting verses for the weeks they’ve missed, and the videos are uploaded to the Hillside Church YouTube channel.
