Philemon 1:1-25

We wrapped up our series A Letter From a Friend by looking at Philemon’s side of the story. Pastor Brad challenged us with Paul’s powerful message: to extend grace—not because others have earned it, but because we didn't either.

It was a timely reminder that the gospel calls us to live generously, forgive freely, and love deeply—just like Jesus has done for us.

3 Takeaways
Grace doesn’t just forgive, it restores.
You can’t extend grace if you forget the grace you've received.
The gospel makes reconciliation possible, even when it feels impossible.

Question For Reflection
Where in my life is God inviting me to extend grace — not because it’s deserved, but because I’ve received it?

Ask God to soften your heart, remind you of the grace He’s given you, and give you the strength to show that same grace to others — even when it’s hard.
