In the opening message of our All Of Me series, When Love Calculates, we stepped into John 12 and watched two responses to Jesus unfold in the same room. One response measured cost, weighed value, and held back. The other poured everything out in an act of worship that felt extravagant and even unreasonable. Through Mary and Judas, we were invited to ask a deeper question—not “What do I owe?” but “What is He worth?”
This sermon challenged us to examine the subtle ways our love can become calculated—careful, guarded, and shaped by self-protection. When we see Jesus clearly, worship shifts from obligation to devotion. Generosity becomes less about formulas and more about a heart that recognizes His beauty and responds without reserve.
