In this message from our Stuff You’ve Googled series, God Won’t Give You More Than You Can Handle, we explored a phrase that is often offered as comfort but can leave people feeling isolated when life becomes overwhelming. Looking at 2 Corinthians 1, we discovered that Paul himself experienced circumstances that were far more than he could handle, and that was precisely where he learned to depend on God.
This sermon reminded us that the Christian life is not built on self-sufficiency but on God's sufficiency. Life will sometimes be more than we can carry on our own, but it is never more than God can carry. In our weakness, exhaustion, and limitations, we are invited not to try harder, but to trust deeper in the God who meets us there.
