Your Sunday at Hillside

When you join us on a Sunday, you can expect a relaxed and welcoming environment where people of all ages are invited to feel at home. We gather at 9:00am and 10:45am, and our services typically last about 75 minutes.

You’ll see people dressed casually and comfortably — come as you are. When you arrive, our welcome team will be there to help you find your way, answer questions, or simply say hello. Kids and families are warmly welcomed, and we love creating space for them to grow and belong as part of our church family.

There’s no pressure, no expectations — just an open invitation to come and be with us.

What to expect on a Sunday at Hillside

When you arrive

When you arrive on a Sunday morning, you’ll come through our front doors into a simple, welcoming lobby space. Our welcome team will be there to greet you and help you feel at home as you find your way in. Parking is easy and on-site, and everything inside is straightforward and easy to navigate.

Take a moment, grab a seat, and settle in — we’re glad you’re here.

When the service begins

Our gathering begins with worship through music — a meaningful time to pause, reflect, and turn our hearts toward Jesus. During the service, we’ll also share a few announcements and, on the first Sunday of each month, take time to celebrate communion together.

After that, we open Scripture and spend time in a message that’s rooted in the Bible and connected to real, everyday life. Our hope is that you leave encouraged, grounded, and reminded that God is present and at work.

If you have kids

Kids and families are an important part of our church family. Children join us for the beginning of the service, and partway through — before the message — Hillside Kids are dismissed to their classes.

On your first visit, parents are asked to register their kids, and our team will gladly help you with that. Our kids’ environments are safe, welcoming, and led by caring volunteers who love helping children discover who Jesus is in age-appropriate and engaging ways.

We offer:

  • Mini’s Nursery (Ages 4 and under): a nurturing, loving space for our youngest kids

  • Little Class (Ages 4 to Grade 2): a fun and faith-filled environment designed just for them

  • Bigs Class (Grades 2 to 5): a place for older kids to grow and go deeper

We also have a Baby Quiet Room available for parents who need a peaceful place for feeding, diaper changes, or a quiet moment.

Your children aren’t just welcomed here — they’re cared for and valued.

When the service ends

Our services typically last about 75 minutes. Afterward, many people stick around to connect, enjoy a coffee or tea, and spend time together. Most Sundays, we also have fresh bread available in the lobby — a simple way we love sharing hospitality.

Whether you linger and connect or head out quietly, there’s no pressure. If you’d like prayer, have questions, or just want to say hello, someone from our team would be glad to connect with you.

If visiting a church is new for you—or even if it isn’t—we know it can come with questions. We want you to feel informed, at ease, and cared for as you take next steps.
