Mark 7:31-37

In this message from our Weird series, When Jesus Gets Uncomfortably Close, we explored the healing of the deaf and mute man in Mark 7—a miracle where Jesus touches, sighs, and speaks in deeply personal ways. Rather than healing from a distance, Jesus draws near, reminding us that He is not afraid of our brokenness or our pain.

This sermon invited us to consider that God's work in our lives is often deeply personal before it is public. Jesus doesn't simply solve our problems—He meets us in them. His nearness may feel uncomfortable at times, but it is in that closeness that we experience His compassion, healing, and transforming grace.
